the same could be said for just about any pet. But heres the cat version.

Every time I go to a shelter, I always see the adult cats being neglected by the lookie-loos. I always chill with the adults whenever I'm in the shelter.

that they do, they are great pets even if they are adults i think they are better as adults a lot of the time

I like adult cats alot too. My only reason for not getting them is that I need the animal to not thinks my rabbits are food...or killable

thats why I had to re-home Bree :(

THANK YOU FOR POSTING THIS

I used to work as a volunteer at a cat rescue and I was THE ONLY ONE playing with the older cats. Everyone else wanted to play with the kittens. The older cats rarely got looked at to go to a nice loving home and it was sad because they were the biggest sweethearts... ;-;

People need to pay more attention to them. Their lives aren't over yet and it's sad to see them live it out in a cage ;=;

I tried a more aged cat, but it didn't work out with my current pet situation. But I always enjoy chilling with adult cats anyway. They suit my personality type best XD

But yeah, I have to get kittens so they grow up with rabbits and not see a rabbit as food as opposed to an adult cat who has probably never been around a rabbit in its life.

Yeah. They are much more cool and serene then kittens. I've had to deal with about ten kittens over the course of this last year. Loved them all and got them to new homes, but I love my calm sweetheart Moraina XD Who hated me for the longest time for taking care of so many kittens Oo

I see what you mean about that. My cats always grow up with some other sort of animal so they are pretty flexible when I get new species that would normally be considered prey XD The only animal Moraina is bad with is birds >< Everything else she either keeps clear or she becomes their bud. ^^

my current kitten thinks my rabbits are a real laugh. She encourages my rabbits to chase her around my apartment....and the rabbits chase!

I can't wait to bring home my black kitten so she can join my furry family :3

XDDD My parent's cat does that with me XDD But a kitten doing it with rabbits? That's adorable :heart:

Yay for more kitties XD I live in a dorm right now so my cat is with my parents and I'm not even allowed to have a beta D:

D: I've thought about it but they do thorough room checks. (normally for drugs cause apprently that's a huge problem Oo) So no beta... -sigh-

I really wanted to get a tarantula actually XD
